Pug Stuff

Hey Everybody! I am owned by three pugs: Petunia, Rosie and Sebastian.

Rosie was an owner-surrender. We got a call from our vet saying that someone had turned in a pug they no longer wanted. We immediately took her in. She weighed just ten pounds. Now she is a healthy 18 pounds. We think she is eleven years old.

Sebastian belonged to my elderly next-door neighbor--when she passed away, Sebastian came to live with us. As you can see by this picture, he had an ugly growth on the side of his neck when we got him. He has since had it removed and is doing fine. He will be ten in November and is happy to be living in Pug Heaven.

Petunia (see last post for her picture) is now a ten-year-old; she is insulin-dependent diabetic. She has recently had two surgeries to remove cancerous tumors, and is currently cancer-free. Because she is diabetic, she cannot have chemo, so we have her on a holistic regimen. It seems to be working.

We also foster pugs from time to time through Pug Rescue of Memphis; more on that later.

Have a puggy day!
